Who is making use of open government data? And how?
If you’ve explored open government data in any way, then please spare 15 minutes to take a look at the Open Data Impacts survey that I’ve just published online.
You can find the survey between now and the end of May at: http://limesurvey.oii.ox.ac.uk/index.php?sid=28672
All completed surveys providing an e-mail address will be entered into a draw to receive one of four £25 Amazon Vouchers.
To my knowledge this is the first significant survey of how open government data is being used, and how those engaging with open government data perceive the importance of various policy and technical elements of opening up access to data – so I’m hopeful of getting a wide range of views. If you are aware of networks engaging with open government data then please do share the survey link with them.
I’m committed to not only using the results to inform my MSc dissertation, but also to share key findings through this blog and other arenas.
